Yes. Bedrock Cosmos is a free, open-source proxy for Minecraft Bedrock Edition on Windows that gives players access to a large library of custom capes not available in the base game. Install the launcher, pick a cape, and equip it in under a minute.

Will using Bedrock Cosmos get me banned in Minecraft Bedrock?

No. Bedrock Cosmos is a client-side cosmetic proxy that only affects how capes and skins appear on your screen. It does not interact with anti-cheat systems, provide gameplay advantages, or violate Minecraft's terms of service, and it has no history of causing bans.

Can I upload my own custom cape to Bedrock Cosmos?

Not yet. Currently only the capes built into the Bedrock Cosmos launcher are available. A personal cape upload feature is planned for a future update. Cape creators can apply to have their designs featured in the app by reaching out through the Bedrock Cosmos Discord server.

Does Bedrock Cosmos work on mobile or Xbox?

Bedrock Cosmos officially supports Windows 10 and Windows 11 with Minecraft Bedrock Edition v26.3 or higher. Unofficial community builds for Android exist but are not supported by the team. Official mobile support is planned for a future release.

Can I use Bedrock Cosmos capes on Minecraft Java Edition?

Yes. Download any cape file from the Bedrock Cosmos GitHub repository and upload it to MinecraftCapes.net, Bedrock Cosmos's partner site. Install their free mod and your cape will appear in-game on Java Edition.
